Dear families of Stardom School of Yangon,

My warmest greetings to all.

On behalf of our faculty members, non-teaching staff members and board of directors, I would like to warmly welcome all students and families to our new campus, Stardom School of Yangon. We have accomplished remarkable progress last year in different aspects of our learning outcomes. We have witnessed unified efforts, teamwork and leadership among our students. We have also successfully closed the learning gaps thanks to the additional learning support classes. I would also like to offer my sincere gratitude and appreciation to all teachers and staff members who worked tirelessly every day, went above and beyond to provide rich school experiences for our students. In current AY 2023-2024, with our larger community, we can upscale our community projects, milestones and achievements.

We hope to achieve the similar or even better attendance, far richer school experiences and great learning outcomes in this academic year. Our students are finally be able to benefit all aspects of our school pedagogy, conducive learning environment, quality teaching resources and peer learning. In-person learning will help to strengthen the bond between teachers and students. The bond will foster the love of learning among our students, the dynamics and momentum in peer and group learning.
For our students to excel in different areas of professional fields and to discover their unique abilities in each department of multi-intelligence spectrum, students will be taught, trained, discussed nurtured and assessed in all areas such as academic, sports, literature, science, art, public speaking, technology, humanity, leadership, economy, community service so on and so forth. Our curriculum framework is based on Common Core Standards from the United States. After successful completion of grade 5, our students will be fully prepared for another major academic milestone and lead to a successful progression to the middle school in which the expectations and standards are aligned with American education system. Our middle school curriculum will be academically rigorous and challenging; standardized tests, benchmarks and measures are aligned with United States Education System and Standards. Our aim is to ensure a successful transition and acceptance by prestigious colleges and universities across the world for all our students. American universities and colleges look for exceptional qualities in young adults exceling in all areas of extra-curricular activities, social skills and leadership. I would encourage all families to take this to heart that extra-curricular subjects are as important as our academic and core subjects. A well-rounded student has a better prospect in securing a place in highly ranked universities around the world and a more promising future in highly competitive global talent market.

With your continuous support and collaborative effort between parents, teachers and school, our students will contribute Myanmar and global community in future. Stardom School of Yangon is proud to be building the future hand in hand with your families. With my whole-heart, I wish each and every student the best of luck in every step of the way, making a mark as a high-valued individual in anywhere should you choose to be.
